As a child I fell in love with classic fairy tale and
children's illustration.
Exquisite drawings of stories still take me to a magical place in my mind.
When I started making tiles, I wanted to evoke the feeling those
illustrations inspired.
I strive to make each tile an individual work of art..
The illustrators that inspired many of my tiles are from the late 19th and early
20th century. Most are associated with either the Golden Age of Fairy
Tale illustration, the Arts and Crafts tradition or the Pre-Raphaelites.
